General Donations
One of the most beneficial ways to support Santa Fe Indian Market is by making a general donation to SWAIA. These unrestricted contributions cover the operating expenses of Indian Market, as well as the other programs that SWAIA puts on during the year. Unrestricted gifts are the most flexible, and can be used for immediate, necessary expenses. If you would like to make a general donation to SWAIA, please call 505.983.5220 or email info@swaia.org.

Your donations are tax-deductible (as provided by applicable laws). SWAIA is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization.
Annual Appeal
At the end of each calendar year, SWAIA conducts its Annual Appeal to generate a base of funds to carry it into the new year and continue the activities to produce the next Santa Fe Indian Market. These unrestricted annual appeal contributions are very important in enabling SWAIA to continue providing services and programs to Native American artists.
Planned Giving
Through planned giving, you can make a gift now and receive significant income tax benefits without sacrificing your current way of life. Some taxes, such as capital gains, can be eliminated through planned giving. Other taxes, such as income and transfer taxes can be reduced or eliminated. Some of the ways to participate in planned giving are outlined below:
» Bequests: Name SWAIA as a beneficiary in your living trust or will.
» Charitable Remainder Trusts: Your property is transferred to the trust and you receive income for life.
» Charitable Lead Trusts: Support SWAIA and pass principal to family members with little or no tax penalty.
» Gifts of Retirement Plans: Transfer IRA assets to a charitable remainder trust--the trust will provide life income to the beneficiary, and then an eventual gift to the SWAIA.
» Gifts of Life Insurance: Supporters who are not in need of their life insurance (purchased years ago to provide for children or other family members) can donate the policy to SWAIA.
