Fellowship Sponsorship

The SWAIA Fellowship Program was established in 1980 to provide financial support to exceptionally talented Indian artists from across the nation. It provides them an opportunity to travel, develop marketing plans, purchase supplies, expand their knowledge or explore new artistic directions. An unrestricted $3,000 fellowship is awarded to these talents artists, along with a booth at Santa Fe Indian Market and significant publicity is realized in conjunction with this award.

For twenty years the Fellowship Program has been the launching point for the most talented Native American artists practicing today.
